By
car, coming from the direction of Breda (E19 - the Netherlands).
Take
the motorway E19 to Antwerp.
Take
exit nr. 4 Sint Job in't Goor and turn right on the N117,
direction Sint Job in't Goor.
At
the traffic lights turn right direction Schoten (N115).
After
a distance of 4km on this N115 turn right at the traffic
lights onto the N121 direction Brasschaat.
After
1,5km turn right into the street marked 'Brasschaat, plaatselijk
verkeer' that changes into our Laarsebeekdreef halfway.
Our street is a cul-de-sac and you'll find us at the end
of the street on your left hand side.
By
car, all other directions.
Take
the ringroad around Antwerp in the direction of Breda
(the Netherlands).
Take
exit nr. 5, please note this is a double exit: one section
goes to Schoten and Merksem, the other section goes to
Brasschaat, Ekeren and Kapellen. It is very important
that you take the exit in the direction of Brasschaat
(N1).
Drive
to the centre of the village of Brasschaat.
At
the centre take a right turn just before the church, you
are now on the Miksebaan (N121).
Drive
past the castle and park of Brasschaat.
Take
a right turn at the crossroad, you are now on the Elshoutbaan
(N121).
Take
the second street on your left (the first street is a
small gravel road), the first section of our street is
marked 'Brasschaat, plaatselijk verkeer', the second half
of the street is Schoten, you are now in the Laarsebeekdreef.
Our street is a cul-de-sac and you'll find us at the end
of the street on your left hand side.
Public transport.
Take
the train to Antwerp and get off at Antwerp Central Station
(Centraal Station).
Go
to the bus depot at the Roosevelt place and take bus 64
at platform 11 or 12.
Descend
at the church of Brasschaat. From the church it is still
a brisk walk of ± 20 minutes.
The
best route is to walk along the Miksebaan past the castle
and park of Brasschaat.
Just
past the crossroad take the Helena Thijslei, a small paved
road that looks more like a driveway, on your right hand
side.
At
the first crossing take the path on your left. Halfway
you will notice a barrier. Walk past the barrier and take
the first street on your right, you are now in De Heuvels.
Walk
towards the end of the street and turn left at the T-crossing,
you are now in the Laarsebeekdreef. Our street is a cul-de-sac
and you'll find us at the end of the street on your left
hand side.
